Same problem here: Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev
01) using ndiswrapper, Linksys WRT54G router.

The router frequently crashes (signal strength meter normal but no
internet, trying to ping router reports 'host unreachable') and has to
be reset; if this is done fairly quickly then it reconnects fine, but if
it is left off for long enough for network-manager to report no
connection (not just zero signal strength), it often won't reconnect;
when told to do so, sometimes it shows the 'trying to connect' animation
then fails to connect, sometimes it doesn't do anything visible at all.

The router crashes (a known issue with this type of router,
http://forums.linksys.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Routers&thread.id=19685&view=by_date_ascending&page=1
) also seem to have got more frequent (from about one to several per
day) since I got a new computer and switched from wired Ubuntu 6.10 to
wireless Ubuntu 7.10-amd64. There are also 3 wireless Windows XP
computers on the router, and when it goes down it goes down for everyone
at once.

Happens at about 08:20 and 10:20 in attached log.
