Public bug reported:

After you turn on suspend mode, the system freezes. Does not respond to
Ctrl+Alt+F1... And even the logs are not saved to disk. There is nothing
in the log after switching to suspend mode, although I immediately try
to wake up the system.

With kernel 4.18 I have not this problem.
