Public bug reported:

Hello,

I have a Dell XPS Gen 2 laptop with 2 gigabytes of RAM. I am using the
canonical supported nvidia drivers
When I try to suspend or hibernate my pc, it gets stuck in the operation and I
am forced to press 5 seconds on the power button to force shutdown.
I have tried to kill compiz before suspend but it does not help.
I have tried to change some parameters in acpi according to forum quotes
without success also.

This is considered by me as a major problem.

Please help

W.G.
