The workaround above (gfx.webrender.all = true) does help a bit, but does not fully solve the issue. The shadow of the window is shaped by a rectangle (and so the corners are still visible over a light background) and, in addition, there is a 'see-through' line in the application window, below the address bar (you can see the text behind the window).
