Public bug reported:
The new iPod nano (3G, video) seems to use a checksum on the media
database. To make it short, only libgpod 0.6.0 supports this player,
however, the version shipped on Gutsy and Hardy is 0.5.2
Is there any plans to update libgpod on this Ubuntu release?
