Public bug reported: try this:
sudo apt-get install savi vi this-is-my-sim-script.tcl (some constellation creation thing) savi ./this-is-my-sim-script.tcl SaVi: couldn't find file passed as parameter. SaVi: For 3D visualization, run from within Geomview. SaVi: defaulting to J2 orbital model. If you compile savi yourself, this works as expected: cd savi1.5.1 ./savi ../this-is-my-sim-script.tcl and loads and runs the script. Not sure if modifications made by maintainers changed behaviour.
