Xubuntu 19.10 QA-test - following copied from qa-test report comments dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550) opened `thunar` to mount hdd to have music play in background... i mounted my data ($HOME) directory on hdd and icons were unexpectedly different? i opened 'appearance' and couldn't see a change there (greybird & elementary.xfce.dark as expected)? opened window top left (whisker) and noted firefox, terminal menu items did NOT have icons! I pressed <prtscr> if someone on #xubuntu-devel wanted to see what I was [badly] describing & noted it didn't work, ctrl+alt+T to open term did nothing too so https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-settings/+bug/1827459 On running `xfsettingsd --replace` ctrl+alt+T works, whisker menu now has icons, plus on reload (^R) my `thunar` directory now has icons that I expect.
