I have had a working 18.4 system for a few months. Today a software update ran, which I allowed like I always do. Then went to play OpenRA and it would not run well enough to play. So I was going to settings to check the display settings. Only to be presented with a Select User screen, enter password, then back to Desktop.
I had to search and find how to use terminal and uninstall and reinstall. I uninstalled gnome-control-center And re-installed gnome-control-center Rebooted and still same thing. I tried opening the gnome-control-center using terminal and same thing. Select user, enter password, back to desktop. So far none of the steps I can find will allow me into the settings. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1755536 Title: gnome-control-center is not open ubuntu 18.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1755536/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
