Public bug reported: Setting "Photos: Do nothing" in the removable media panel of the gnome control center had no effect in that inserting a removable volume with photos/video (GoPro SD card) results in Shotwell being opened. The only way to prevent this from happening is to check "Never prompt or start programs on media insertion" which then prevents convenient starting of e.g. DVD playing.
