Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

system: HP xw4000, 200gb ide seagate, 1gb ram, 2 833mhz pIII processors,
32mb nvidia riva tnt2, 1600x1200 resolution.

firefox starts normally and displays edubuntu welcome page. On
attempting to access another page (on internet), the system goes into a
hard lock, no ctrl-alt-backspace, no ctrl-alt-f2. No thin clients were
connected, attempting to start firefox on the terminal server.

How to reproduce:
boot edubuntu, do not connect any thin clients (may also occur with/on thin
clients, haven't tried), start firefox, attempt to browse to page on internet.

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
