Since the files in the two packages don't overlap, no, there should be
no problems at all when upgrading from dapper.  In fact, the
Conflicts/Replaces in the Debian package are also obsolete and should be
dropped, but there's no need for Ubuntu to diverge from the Debian
package for this reason alone.
