the bug was reported in 7.04 at real time work on openoffice example on 7.10 1. open openoffice 2. copy some text 3. do this http://server6.theimagehosting.com/image.php?img=OpenOffice.org%20Writer.png&public_view=1&album=0&fullsize=1 4. try to copy/paste... the "w" letter with the mouse right button 5. now go to the menu bar>edit, as you can see here you have the option to copy/paste
