The reason is that it applied to https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/log/?h=ubuntu/bionic-devel as-is, but this is before all the patches in https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/tree/debian/patches?h=ubuntu/bionic-devel are applied. Among other things this applies: https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/tree/debian/patches/stable/0027-Pass-oldDev-to-virDomainDefCompatibleDevice-on-devic.patch?h=ubuntu/bionic-devel
Due to that I can't take the patch as-is but need to backport it on my own.
