I did a regression test and ran iperf3 (single thread and 4 threads in parallel) from cosmic to bionic (bionic target) and vice versa (cosmic target) a couple of times. On top of that I'm of course also remotely connected to these system via OSA (since some hours) using the updated/expanded driver. Everything looks good and is stable so far - I also did not noticed any performance degradation (by accident I ran some tests earlier this week and compared the throughput, and it's virtually the same). All this done on z13 with OSA Express 5S.
