Public bug reported:

Hello

As it seems that the exfat software of ubuntu is not very reliable so i
decided to do some tests to verify this under ubuntu 18.04.2

After a few tests, it becomes impossible to mount the USB2 stick. The
error message is the following:

    Fuse exfat 1.2.8
error ldlinux.c32 points to invalid cluster 0

So I run a quality test that responds

    exfatfsck 1.2.8
error ldlinux.c32 points to invalid cluster 0

As I have the chance to use windows10, I run it and I ride without any
difficulty the USB2 key!
Thinking that windows was able to fix the problem, I come back in ubuntu and I
see that nothing has changed.
I return then in windows and look in detail the contents of the USB key.
      6 directory
    143 files
But there are two files with size with 0 byte  whose names ares ldlinux.c32
and Win10_1607_French_x64.iso.

After deleting these two files with windows, I can run ubuntu and connect the
USB2 key and access the files without any difficulty.

However I remember a problem for the windows file. While copying it in
graphical mode, I was able to view a file that was getting bigger and bigger
until it had the same size as the copied file. He disappeared but his name had
surprised me. It was like this: .goutputstream-XXXNXX. It may be without any
link.

Thinks.
