I find that Kdevelop has a bug in the find in files interface for remote shares only:
Ubuntu 7.10 file->open correctly uses the network folders interface and allows you to work on remote folders. edit->findinfiles tries to use the interface but will not open an ssh or ftp share It *could* be that there is a simple syntax bug around the "remote:" part of the path. I tried several variations to no avail. workaround: use sshfs or smbmount to establish a share. That is usable in edit->findinfiles -- Kdevelop "Find in Files" fails with status 123 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155897 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
