Public bug reported:

I've got an exFAT-USB-Stick. If I'm plugging the stick it seems to be
mounted (the mounted symbol appears in nautlius). But I'm not able to
open the stick to open files or for writing new files to the stick. Just
if I'm formatting the stick with GNOME Disks and mounting it directly
after formatting about GNOME Disks I can open the stick. After
unmounting the same problem appears.
