A quick Google shows some hints: https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Documentation/User/SystemWide/
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio/Examples#Allowing_multiple_users_to_use_PulseAudio_at_the_same_time If we are to follow upstream's recommendations then that would make this bug "Won't Fix". Because the only solution they provide is also one they don't recommend. However I don't find that conclusion satisfactory when probably no other OS has this problem. So I will leave this bug open. ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1814964 Title: No audio when logging in as second user.
