Public bug reported: On boot, I can see systemd-resolve is configured properly; the router (192.168.1.254) is listed as a DNS server:

This problem effects both my bonic machines, but does not happen on the machines still on xenial; I can thus assume the router is properly providing DNS and this indeed is a bionic bug.
