Public bug reported: I have seen mentions on the Ubuntu developer blog via Phoronix that Canonical are working on ZFS root support for Ubiquity?
I wrote a ZFS installer for Arch ( https://github.com/danboid/ALEZ ) and one of its main features is that it configures your pool so as to enable the creation of boot environments using zedenv. I am pre-emptively opening this feature request to request that the Ubiquity create its pool and datasets in a very similar way as ALEZ (see its code on github) so that Ubuntu users will be able to use zedenv to create and manage boot envs. Thanks! ** Affects: subiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: I have seen mentions on the Ubuntu developer blog via Phoronix that Canonical are working on ZFS root support for Ubiquity?
