Thanks for the details, but if I see correctly this was handled in the dock
extension, meaning the lock does not forcibly locks all apps, but dock now
"respects" the lock request.

This means this or similar bugs could easily repeat in dock or other
extensions, and I cannot trust this will not repeat (in other words it was
not handled at system level/ X level, but the specific package).

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
