Good day Same issue here! After upgrade systemd from 229-4ubuntu21.10 to 229-4ubuntu21.15 and a reboot, ssh did not start anymore. As ugly workaround i ran #mkdir -p -m0755 /var/run/sshd && systemctl restart ssh.service
