Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 18.10 (18.04 was working all fine)
Gnome-desktop on X11 only (Ubuntu on wayland works fine)
By doing twice Ctrl-Alt-T to open a terminal and using Ctrl-D to exit
it, USB mouse is freeze. While the laptop tracker/pointer device still
works fine. As soon as you log out the USB mouse becomes usable again.
Initially thought this was usb autosuspend issue but turns out not related.
No USB issues found from "dmesg" from kernel side, looks like a Gnome/X11
problem on 18.10.
