Alex: This problem is apparently gone in 7.10. Thank goodness for the improvements.
I think NM still is a long ways from being a good software. It is too simple interface for that. For example, there isn't even the possibility to save " Profiles". It's my personal view that the Intel ProSet Wireless utility is one of the greatest wireless clients I have ever seen. I hope that NM applet can learn from them.
