I am also having the same problem in Ubuntu 18.04.1 with multiple
network interfaces getting renamed consistently after reboots and
complete shutdowns. All four network interfaces are from an Intel I350
device built into a Supermicro X9DRI-LN4F+ motherboard. Only 1 interface
of the 4 is named eno1 the other 3 are a variation of renameX and all 4
interfaces are consistently switching names or getting new and higher
numbered renameX  which then screws up my network configuration for this
machine.
