The gnome-appearance-properties dialog is unresponsive on my Ubuntu 7.10
x86_64 install, where its widgets widgets don't render properly either.
When I, for example, click on the 'Background' tab[1] the window's
contents apparently don't change, but its controls respond to clicks,
and when I try to change my desktop background[2] the dialog looks
just... wrong. This happens both with Compiz and Metacity. Also, I'm
using the nvidia driver if it helps to know.
I can still change my settings via gconf-editor.
