Dell Latitude D610 too, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic, and re-docking makes Gutsy hanging. I will try the "rmmod dock" workaround, but waiting the final fix. Unless "fix released" means it is not yet committed in Ubuntu repositories, I suspect the bug status to be incorrect.
