Hi, Apologies I thought I made it clear I have Gutsy 7.10, and my Kmail version is kmail 4:3.5.7enterprise20070926-0ubuntu2
I ran the test as you suggested and I was not able to reproduce, so maybe you are right and it is something the Exchange server has done. What I did was look at the mail headers where it had my name in it. From Yahoo I get To: =?utf-8?q?F=C3=A9lim_Whiteley?= But From the Exchange Server I get To: =?iso-8859-1?Q?F=E9lim_Whiteley?= So some sort of iso-8859-1 parsing error. The strange part of this though is if I reply from Yahoo account directly to one of these emails I don't have the issue. So Yahoo is doing something to parse it better than what KMail is... Possibly a language pack is required ? I'm not sure. Thanks for your help so far anyway. -- Email Address with é parsing error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158313 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
