After extensive playing with iwlwifi, I could stop the issue by doing either: - modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable=1 - blacklist the v36 firmware /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-8265-36.ucode, driver picks v34 which seems to be stable
I tested the two releases of v36: 36.7596afd4.0 and 36.e91976c0.0, both expose the same issue.
