To change a font colour, in the toolbar you you either click: the button to change it to the most recent changed colour the 'drop down' (on the right side of the button) to choose a different colour When using a smaller screen, and the "Formatting" toolbar flows off the screen, the colour chooser button gets added to the 'overflow' list.
