Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.22-14-server
The system was upgraded from version 7.04 to 7.10, and with the new kernel /dev/hda1 does not get mounted, although the drive is detected properly by what dmesg says. Using 2.6.20-15-server kernel works properly: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/data2# mount /dev/sda3 on / type reiserfs (rw) proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) /sys on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev) varrun on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=0755) varlock on /var/lock type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=1777) udev on /dev type tmpfs (rw,mode=0755) devshm on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw) devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620) /dev/sda1 on /boot type ext2 (rw) /dev/mapper/system-lager2 on /data type reiserfs (rw,noatime, data=writeback) /dev/hda1 on /data2 type reiserfs (rw,noatime, data=writeback) <-- this one is missing in 2.6.22 securityfs on /sys/kernel/security type securityfs (rw) [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/data2# uname -a Linux backupserver 2.6.20-15-server #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:41:34 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux I can try out different kernel versions, and post whatever info you require to reproduce / fix the issue.
