Debian stretch with backports (kernels 4.17 and 4.18) on a Dell Latitude E6420 with a Dell Wireless 1530 (Broadcom BCM43228) card.
This problem (although the delay is of about three minutes) has started occurring on every boot after installing broadcom-sta-dkms (drivers for the above wireless card). Installing rng-tools (or uninstalling broadcom-sta-dkms) fixes it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1685794 Title: Boot delayed for about 90 seconds until 'random: crng init done' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1685794/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
