Confimed here as well: same laptop - same problem. Haven't tried
disconnecting the AC power cord yet though, thanks for the tip. It took
me a few days to figure out why my computer was just turning itself off
without warning - hopefully it isn't permanently damaged. Suspend
doesn't work for me either so I guess the ACPI support for our laptop is
flaky at best :-(
