Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: koffice

Some KDE applications just do not work well with scim. What I have found
thus far are KWord and Kopete.

In case of KWord, say, I enter the word 図書館 (toshokan, library) twice, like
this:
図書館図書館

Then, I press the undo button until there are no undos left (two times).

Then, press the redo button the same times. What I get, is

Kate, for example, is working correctly.

Also, sometimes the word I approved in scim by pressing Enter just
disappears, and is not written to the document.

In case of Kopete, I can usually enter a sentence without problems,
provided I do not delete characters. However, after that, whatever I
type becomes like to text above: kかtたnな (kKAtTAnNA, parts written with
capital letter are kanas). I have to dismiss and make the scim window
reappear before I can continue to type normally.

The error persists regardless of event flow setting (dynamic false or
true). I have tried to use the scim-bridge im-module, but it did not
solve the problem either.

This is a big showstopper for me. Please do something about it.
