Reading through the bug report linked by Daniel van Vugt (vanvugt) in comment #24 (https://github.com/micheleg/dash-to-dock/issues/128), I noticed that Dash-to-Dock is only affected.
I had uninstalled the Ubuntu Dock... $ sudo apt autoremove --purge gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock However, I was using the Dash-to-Dock extension, instead. $ sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-dashtodock So, I disabled Dash-to-Dock. Now the problem is gone. Are all of you using either Dash-to-Dock or the Ubuntu-Dock? If so, what happens when you disable or remove it? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1725384 Title: On touch screens, the apps icon in the dock does not open when touched To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dash-to-dock/+bug/1725384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
