This (from your log) is happening while trying to remove/purge it: Suppression de mysql-common (5.7.23-1ubuntu16.04) ...
Apport will report the last error, and you tried to clean it up which is good. But the logs do no more contain the original issue. I think this is because you are trying to purge mysql partially, like in bug 1519557 I assume you are now stuck unable to remove it (that is what I see atm) nor install it right? Never the less I'd need to see what happens on install of mysql? $ apt install mysql-server-5.7 Please attach the full console log this triggers as well as any new entries in /var/log/mysql/error.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1792376 Title: package mysql-common 5.7.23-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus script post-removal installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1792376/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
