Public bug reported: Until the last release (16.04 LTS), I was able to set the hardware clock to local time using the below command:
timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 But since Bionic, this feature no longer works. Above command doesn't have any effect at all after reboots. ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791331 Title: [Bionic] Hardware clock cannot be set to local time - "timedatectl set-local-rtc 1" no longer works To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1791331/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
