Public bug reported:

Please sync bbswitch 0.8-5 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
  * Merge with Debian; remaining changes:
    - Remove support for module-assistant so as to comply
with the requirements of the MIR.

Looks like the current delta was added for Main Inclusion. Now that the
package has been demoted to Universe, is it still needed?

Changelog entries since current cosmic version 0.8-4ubuntu1:

bbswitch (0.8-5) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Add fix-building-against-4.12.patch to fix build on Linux 4.12.
  * Use https in debian/copyright to be compliant with policy version
    4.0.0 and bump Standards-Version.
