Public bug reported: In a standard Ubuntu 18.04.01 installation the pacpl version 5.0.1 installed through apt fails to read the input files, because it calls ffmpeg with just the -y option and not the actual needed -y -i options
manual installation of Version 6.1.0 from sourceforge works as expected please update the pacpl package to an up to date version BTW: this was only tested with .wma files Thanks for your work Torsten lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS Release: 18.04 pacpl: Installiert: 5.0.1-1 Installationskandidat: 5.0.1-1 Versionstabelle: *** 5.0.1-1 500 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: pacpl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1790871 Title: call to ffmpeg fails due to missing -i option To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pacpl/+bug/1790871/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
