Public bug reported:

Kernel 3.13.0-157 causes errors writing to an ext2 or ext3 filesystem with a
non-zero stride setting.
The issue does not happen with kernel 3.13.0-155.

Steps to reproduce:

root@manager:~# mkdir mnt

root@manager:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=file.img bs=1MB count=32
