No problem, now I understand what is the problem (being thick headed doesn't help of course). That patch has been corrected in hardy, and it is now correctly patching the desktop file with gnome-audio. For gutsy, I don't think that this change its worth an SRU (the easiest work-around is to manually select the correct icon), perhaps the better is to ask for a backport:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports See in particular "How to request new packages" and "Backport Process". For the time being, I'm marking this as corrected in hardy, and confirmed in gutsy. ** Changed in: paman (Ubuntu Hardy) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released ** Changed in: paman (Ubuntu Gutsy) Importance: Undecided => Low Status: New => Confirmed -- No icon available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159954 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
