Looked at Alsa Config file and could not find my particular file AD1988B nearest was AD1988 So I then Tried changing to options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 model=6stack - made no difference to machine at all. I cannot find the position_fix value to change it to 0 (auto)- where do I find it?. No I don't know what I am doing but I am willing to try again Should I remove the line that I added even though it doesn't appear to do any thing?
