Hi, I am new to Ubuntu. This is pretty confusing, that there are two different applications for kind of the same purpose. Why I use Add/Remove software for some stuff, but Synaptic for other stuff? This is confusing to me...
I discovered that I could install Conky and GKrellM via the command-line using apt-get. I don't understand why some are "Simple" and some are "Advanced", and why there needs to be a difference on how they install. I just want it to work and be simple and consistent. -- Too few packages in repository https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/158867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
