Public bug reported: Binary package hint: screem
Background: I needed to change about 40-50 filenames on a site that I manage through Screem. Easy enough, I changed the files names in Nautilus on the local copy of the files, hit upload in Screem and watched it go to work. Unfortunately, it seemed to not remember that it had deleted the old files off the server and copied the new files into place. Every time I update now it tries to delete the non-existent old files and reuploads most of my site! It is also repeatedly uploading new files that I added to the site by placing them in the local directory using Nautilus. Quite time-consuming and frustrating. I am running Gutsy on a Toshiba Satellite 1130-S155. Please let me know if you need any additional information on my hardware or system/program settings. To reproduce: 1) Rename one or more files on the local copy of the Website. 2) Select Tools->Upload. 3) Observe as old files is deleted from site and new file is uploaded. 4) Select Tools->Upload. 3) Observe as Screem tries to delete the non-existent files and reuploads both name-changed and new files. Thanks! ** Affects: screem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Screem does not remember completed rename actions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
