Hi,
I had previously installed Ubuntu 16.0 LTS on my system along with
Windows 10. Now I wanted to upgrade to ubuntu 18.0 LTS which I tried to
install via USB. Now while Installing I selected the 2nd option called
"Delete Ubuntu 16 & reinstall" which supposedly should delete the older
version & install the newer version of Ubuntu, i.e. Ubuntu 18.0 LTS.
Now I get stuck on the "Grub Install" phase & the installer crashes. I
tried this multiple times & get the same error.
Also please note that on removing the USB & rebooting the system, I am
stuck on the "grub rescue" screen. I also get this error which states
that the "i386-pc/boot/grub/normal.mod not found" And after going
through a couple of solutions, I had tried running the commands but
still no success.
Please help me out as I am badly stuck in this grub rescue screen & not
able to install the OS (nor am I boot into Windows 10).
