Public bug reported: Using the pcs package results in runaway ruby/pcsd processes that use 100% CPU (reported but ignored here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcs/+bug/1772998). Strace shows them stuck in a sched_yield() loop. After more digging this seems to a problem in the ruby interpreter, and was fixed in a patch discussed here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcs/+bug/1772998
However it's still a problem in Ubuntu 16.04. Can this fix please be backported to Ubuntu 16? ** Affects: pcs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1783161 Title: Ruby processes get stuck on sched_yield busyloop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcs/+bug/1783161/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
