Public bug reported: When a new removable medium is inserted, Ubuntu creates a corresponding folder in /media. Later, if the user removes the medium, that folder is deleted. However, if the user removes the medium when Ubuntu is down (e.g., when the PC is off), the folder remains. It can only be removed manually using sudo command.
Can we remove empty folders in /media (not listed in /etc/fstab and /etc/mtab, of course) while starting up? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- The /media folder gets cluttered with time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
