Public bug reported:

While upgrading my cosmic machine:

Preparing to unpack .../348-rustc_1.27.0+dfsg0+llvm-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking rustc (1.27.0+dfsg0+llvm-0ubuntu1) over (1.26.1+dfsg0+llvm-0ubuntu1)
...
dpkg: error processing archive
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-wbIzTD/348-rustc_1.27.0+dfsg0+llvm-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
(--unpack):
 trying to overwrite
'/usr/lib/rustlib/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/codegen-backends/librustc_trans-llvm.so',
which is also in package libstd-rust-dev:amd64 1.26.1+dfsg0+llvm-0ubuntu1
dpkg-deb: error: paste subprocess was killed by signal (Broken pipe)

Apparently, the upgrade path for rustc and libstd-rust-dev needs to be
handled more carefully.

** Affects: rustc (Ubuntu)
