Ok, I also got booting on Gutsy with CONCURRENCY=shell to work using just sudo mv /etc/rc2.d/S12hal /etc/rc2.d/S13hal (Kloudy actually had a typo there moving "S12hal" to "13hal", which of course wouldn't work) But shell didn't really speed up my boot. I still boot up in 25s, which isn't too bad either, but no improvement :)
