I double checked. The ISO MD5 sum was perfect and I tried burning it several times. The result was the same. By the way, errors like "udev [3626]: parse_file: line too long, rule skipped '/etc/udev/rules.d/45-libsane.rules:540'" definitely do not seem to be CDROM-related.
